Sven Seidel

Sven Seidel has been CEO of the PHOENIX group, a leading pharmaceutical retailer in Europe, since November 2019. Prior to that, he was a member of the management board of the global mail-order company Otto and from 2014 to 2017 CEO of Lidl, one of the largest retailers in Germany and Europe, where he was instrumental in successfully driving global growth, vertical integration, and digital transformation.

He is also an Operating Partner of Advent International, a global private equity firm, and a member of the supervisory board of Faerch Group, a company that offers circular food packaging solutions.

Mr. Seidel joined Deloitte Consulting as a management consultant in 1998 and moved to Porsche Consulting in 2003. In his position as a partner, he worked in the retail, consumer goods, and service industries. In 2011, Mr. Seidel joined the management of the Schwarz Group.
