About Peter Herweck

Peter Herweck is CEO of Schneider Electric, France’s largest industrial corporation and a leading global technology company with 150,000 employees, and is one of the most important top executives of Europe.

Prior to his appointment as CEO of Schneider Electric, Mr. Herweck was CEO of the firm’s subsidiary AVEVA, after having overseen the merger of the two companies. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions at Schneider Electric, including Executive Vice President of Industrial Automation. Mr. Herweck worked at Siemens and was appointed Chief Strategy Officer of the firm. He started his career at Mitsubishi Electric as a software development engineer.

Peter Herweck studied electrical and automation engineering in Saarbrücken and the Université de Metz. He also holds an MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business and is a Harvard Business School alum.
