Dr. Klaus Geißdörfer

Dr. Klaus Geißdörfer has been CEO of ebm-papst, a hidden champion from Heilbronn-Franken and the world’s leading manufacturer of fans and motors, since 2021, and is one of the most important managers in the Heilbronn-Franken region.

Prior to that, Dr. Geißdörfer was head of the global industrial division of ZF Friedrichshafen AG, after spending several years at Schaeffler, as a board member of the industry sector and as chairman of the industrial applications sector, among others. Dr. Geißdörfer started his career at Siemens and Parsytec.

Dr. Geißdörfer studied chemical engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, obtained a doctoral degree from EBS, and earned an MBA from INSEAD.
