Sanjiv Lamba is CEO and chairman of Linde, a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with nearly 70,000 employees, and one of the most prominent executives in the global chemical industry.
Prior to his appointment as CEO of Linde, Mr. Lamba served as the company’s COO. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions, including head of South & East Asia regional business unit, after spending more than a decade with BOC, including as Managing Director for BOC India. Mr. Lamba began his career at BOC in India in finance.
Mr. Lamba holds a bachelor of commerce (honors) from St. Xavier’s College, University of Calcutta, and qualified as a chartered accountant.
