About Raynald Aeschlimann

Raynald Aeschlimann is CEO of Omega, one of the world’s most well-known watchmakers, founded in Switzerland in 1848 and known for iconic watches such as the Speedmaster (“Moonwatch”, the first watch on the moon) and the Seamaster (the official watch of the James Bond series) and has been the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932. He is one of the most influential and renowned managers in the watch industry.

Before becoming CEO, Mr. Aeschlimann was, among others, vice president for international sales, retail, and distribution of Omega and brand manager Omega and Blancpain in Spain, after working for Longines. He is also a board member of the Federation of the Swiss watch industry FH. He began his career at Complementa AG in Switzerland.

Mr. Aeschlimann studied business and economics at the University of St. Gallen.
