About Prof. Andrea Sironi
Professor Andrea Sironi is Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali, one of the world’s largest insurance companies with over 80,000 employees, and President of Bocconi University, one of Italy’s and Europe’s leading universities, and is one of Europe’s most distinguished managers and academics.
Professor Sironi is also a member of the advisory board of the Agnelli Foundation and has served as Chairman of the Borsa Italiana and as a member of the supervisory boards of the London Stock Exchange, Banco Popolare, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, UniCredit Group, and Intesa Sanpaolo. Professor Sironi is Professor of Banking and Finance at Bocconi University and has held leadership positions including Rector, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Dean of the Graduate School, and Director of Research at SDA Bocconi. Mr. Sironi began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan Chase).
Mr. Sironi studied Economics at Bocconi University.
