For more than 15 years, Philip Mountford was CEO of Hunkemöller, one of the world’s most well-known lingerie companies headquartered in the Netherlands and the most popular lingerie brand in Germany, and is one of the most successful top managers in the global fashion industry.
During his time as CEO, Mr. Mountford increased the number of Hunkemöller stores from 400 to 940, increased the firm’s profits by more than three times, and transformed Hunkemöller into a strong international and digital brand. Prior to his time as CEO at Hunkemöller, Mr. Mountford was CEO of Moss Bros after serving as managing director of Versace in Milan, sales and marketing director of Nautica in New York, and managing director of Daks in London and Osaka. Mr. Mountford began his career at Simpson Piccadily in London.
Mr Mountford graduated from Ramsden Boys School and earned an associate degree from the Institute of Directors.
