Giuseppe Santoni is Chairman of Santoni, an Italian family-owned company renowned for luxury footwear and leather goods, and is one of the most influential top executives in the European and global footwear and luxury goods industry.
Prior to his appointment as Chairman, Mr. Santoni served as CEO of Santoni for over three decades, overseeing the company’s operational and strategic management. During this time, he drove the company’s international expansion, including into Asia, Eastern Europe, and Northern Europe, and established the firm as a key luxury brand within the global footwear and luxury sector. Before that, he served as the company’s export manager and initiated Santoni’s internationalization. He was appointed CEO in his early twenties, allowing his parents to focus on the actual artistry and craftsmanship of shoemaking. Mr. Santoni began his formal career at Santoni at the age of 19, immediately after graduating from school, having spent more than a decade learning the shoemaking craft from the ground up.
