Dr. Ilham Kadri was CEO of Solvay, a leading Belgian chemical company that was listed on Euronext, and CEO of Syensqo, which emerged from Solvay, and is one of the most influential and renowned top managers in Europe and the world.
Prior to her appointment as CEO of Solvay, Dr. Kadri was CEO of Diversey, after her six-year tenure at Dow Chemical, where she was marketing director in Switzerland and general manager MEA Dow Advanced Materials & commercial director EMEA in Dubai. Prior to that, she was marketing director at Huntsman Corporation, after having worked at LyondellBasell and UCB-Cytec. Dr. Kadri began her career at Royal Dutch Shell in Belgium.
Dr. Kadri studied chemistry at the University of Strasbourg and subsequently earned a PhD in physical chemistry.
