Adam Kiciński was CEO of CD Projekt S.A. from 2010 to 2023. He is considered one of the most important managers in the global gaming industry and is the recipient of the Jan Wejchert Prize for Vision and Innovation awarded by the Polish Business Council. CD Projekt is one of the world’s most well-known game companies and has developed blockbuster games such as The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. Based in Warsaw, Poland, the company is the most valuable game company in Europe and is one of the 20 largest companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WIG20).
Mr. Kiciński has been instrumental in the company’s global expansion and success. Under his leadership, the company released successful games, launched the digital distribution platform GOG.com, and established strategic partnerships, e.g., with Netflix. Mr. Kiciński began his career at CD Projekt back in 1994 when he joined the firm as its first employee and helped CD Projekt transform from a local distributor of video games in Poland to a successful game developer and global publisher.
Mr. Kiciński studied physics at the University of Warsaw.
